Help Santa Toy Parade

Every year, the Fire Fighters’ Association has been organizing this event and collecting toys along the parade route for distribution to the less fortunate children in Ottawa-Carleton.

Shepard’s of Good Hope

Emergency Shelters offer both men and women a bed, a safe place away from the elements and the streets. The Shelters are staffed with front-line workers 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and 365 days of the year.

Shriners Circus

A drive to raise funds for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of pediatric specialty hospitals, founded by the Shrine, where children under the age of 18 receive excellent medical care absolutely free of charge.

Breast Cancer “Think Pink”

Dedicated to helping support breast cancer awareness & research by helping you find the best information available on breast cancer and pointing you at companies, celebrities and events that raise awareness and money for a cure.

Perley Hospital

The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre is a Centre of Excellence for long-term and short-term care of the elderly, respite and convalescent care.

Team Diabetes

Established over 50 years ago, the Canadian Diabetes Association is a charitable organization that has grown to include a presence in more than 150 communities across the country. The Canadian Diabetes Association promotes the health of Canadians through diabetes research, education, service and advocacy.

The Mission

The Ottawa Mission is a non-profit, faith-based ministry, meeting the needs of the homeless and those at risk of being homeless in the Ottawa region. For 100 years, The Ottawa Mission has responded to those in need with food, clothing and shelter.

Alzheimer’s society

The Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County exists to alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and to promote research.

Ottawa Professional Firefighters

Benevolent Fund – Illusions 2008 Magic’n Miracles The Fire Fighters’ Benevolent Fund supports local charities in the Ottawa community that are geared toward helping our children and elderly. Funds are raised through the purchase of tickets to the Ottawa Fire Fighters’ Magic Show each year. The fund raising is coordinated every fall by our partners, Xentel. To date, more than $1.5 million have been raised by this fund and donated by the Ottawa Professional Fire Fighters’ Association to local charities.
